Well, after buying a house a year ago.. The Army has decided in it's infinie wisdom, that we need to move.. From one extreme to the other... Instead of freezing cold winters filled with all the Snow you could ever want to shovel.. We are moving to San Antonio, Tx. Where will need a car starter just to cool the car down, before going out for a drive.... Just kidding...
Chris tried to have the orders canceled, but that did not work out. Besides the snow, I love it here. I have wonderfu friends that I am going to miss terribly.... The kids love thier school and friends, but I am glad it is happening now and not later. Jacob will still have a few years in HS and will not have to move again.
We decided we will stay here after Chris retires.. That will let the kids finish out school in one place and we can build some equity in the house, and we can both finally, finish school... I think going to school has been my career for the past decade....
We are relieved that the housig market there is pretty cheap and the market is loaded with nice LARGE homes.. Lord know's we need one with our family. The kids, specially Jacob, are looking forward to getting a van when Chris comes home... All of us cramming into our little Suzuki is quite comical... With Two of my men being well over 6'2" they have to seat stategically for bets legg room. And with Michaela starting her growth spurt... The van is the only option...
Our only prayer right now, is that house sells quickly... We are not really looking forward to having to stay behind if the house does not sell. Chris will have to leave to report by Sept and Jacob will more then likely go with him to start school early, instead of transferring after the school year begins.... Keep your fingers crassed for us and say lot's of prayers..
Other then that, it will be a busy year for us, ending with a wonerful 7 dayfamily cruise to the Carribean in december.. I will be most welcomed....
Until later, everyone please take care and keep in touch. Ilove reading all of the wonderful posts that cross my page...
